About the tour

Do you have accessibility services for wheelchair-bound participants?

The trolley features a wheelchair lift and room enough for one wheelchair in the back of the trolley. The service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you request the service at least 24 hours in advance.

Where does the trolley tour start?

We have two different starting points according to the departure time.
For the 9 am departure, the starting point is the sales booth located at the Royal Village Shopping center. You will easily find it across the street from the SSA International Pier on Rafael Melgar Avenue.
The 12 pm (noon) departure Leaves from the parking lot of the Punta Langosta Mall. The mall is located across the street from the Punta Langosta Pier.

What are the scheduled departures and where do they leave?

The 9 am departure leaves from The Royal Village shopping center. The meeting point is the sales booth located on the sidewalk of the shopping center on Rafael Melgar Avenue. You will easily find it as it is right across the street from the SSA International Pier main gate.
The 12 pm (noon) departure Leaves from the parking lot of the Punta Langosta Mall. The meeting point is there.
The Sunset tour leaves from the parking lot of the Punta Langosta Mall at 6 pm

What days does the tour operate?

Monday to Saturday

How long does the tour last?

The total tour duration is three hours including stops

Are the trolley trips narrated?

All our trips are fully narrated

What languages are spoken on the tour?

English and Spanish

May I hop in and off wherever I want and take the next trolley?

No. The trolley has three programmed stops to visit; however, your ticket is valid for one trip only.

Does the trolley take us back to the starting point?

Yes, the trolley will take you back to your starting point.

May I secure a baby car seat to the trolley seat?

No, seats are not designed to do so.

Are animals allowed?

Only a certified service dog or assistance animal. Animal and Owner will travel in the open section in the back of the trolley.

Are food and drinks allowed during the tour?

food and drinks are welcome; however, the only restriction is “No Littering”. The trolley tour offers unlimited bottled water.

At the meeting point, you can pay with Visa and Master Card.

Are trams available for private rental?

Is it necessary to make reservations for the trip?

Trolleys have limited space. It is convenient to book in advance to secure your seats. Upon availability, you can get some last-minute tickets at the meeting point.

Trolley facts

Do trolleys have air conditioning?

Yes. Trolleys also have an open section in the rear without A/C

Does the tram have seat belts?

Yes, every unit is equipped with seatbelts; however, the Open section in the rear use outdoor bench seats, those have no seatbelts.

What if a trolley breaks down?

A replacement unit will come to continue the tour; at the farthest point, it will take up to ten to fifteen minutes to arrive depending on traffic. It is important to notice we haven’t had any breakdowns so far. Units follow a regular in-house maintenance program.
